I divide the world into two categories: those who were born by the sea and those who got to know it later on.
I belong to the first group. As far as I can remember, in my memories there’s always the sea. Sea is rooted in everything I’ve seen and experienced over my life since day zero, an integral part of my culture, something I can never tear apart from my existence.
I think of my sea as a lively place of joy. A sort of natural supplement of vitamin, able to recharge your personal batteries like nothing else. A good giant able to make you feel alive again, and full of energies.
So, with that in mind, I tried to capture the mix of vivacity plus fluidity of the sea. I did that observing people’s behaviour while they were spending time in the sea, photographing some impromptu geometries created by pure chance.
