Barletta immersed in a thick fog truly is a rare sight because that is not its ordinary weather.
I took these photos last 2nd January when I was there and woke up in a milky-ish city surrounded by a surreal atmosphere.
All white everywhere, a sort of dreamy atmosphere, I especially loved the harbour where all the small ships seemed to float up in the air.
Funny how I have been chasing the Milanese fog for over two years because I wanted to take pictures of it in what’s normally considered its own natural habitat, but everytime I tried I failed, but in fact I have come face to face with it in completely different scenario.
And while that might open some serious discussions around the climate change (honestly, I am the first one to be quite scared about how the weather really is getting crazy vs how it was just few years ago), let me enjoy the beauty of mist which almost everyone always seems to underestimate.
