Perhaps taking black & white film photographs might not be your typical choice during summer, and in a beach-town also. You know: the summer and beach combo call for (bold) colours, and I agree with that; in fact my ever evolving personal project “Vitamin Sea” (here and here) is in colours.
But for the love of experimenting a little bit and of getting out of my photographic comfort zone I wanted to try doing something different.
I am still in the process of learning how to take proper film photographs, so I simply had fun all around Barletta: no prejudices around places, time of the day, situations.
That’s why you could find this collection a little bit “confused” and without any clearer direction in terms of storytelling. But, still, that’s just a little accumulation of pictures.

Very nice old-fashioned look. I have also been playing with black and white analog photography this summer, and I applaud your series!
Thank you very much for your kind words, Karin!! Makes me so happy to hear that mostly because I appreciate your photographs a lot, they’re brilliant and inspiring. It’s a beautiful experience photographing in analog mode, especially the “thought” you put into each frame not wanting to waste any. It’s a totally different mindset, more thoughtful in some way, and it resonates with me. I’m happy that you liked the post!
