11.07.2025 at Giardini della Triennale, Milan

On July 11th, I found myself under the summer sky of Milan, in the beautiful setting of the Giardini della Triennale, for Beth Gibbons’ concert. The atmosphere was almost cinematic: a gentle breeze, the trees forming a natural frame, and an audience gathered in a quiet kind of reverence. When she appeared on stage, there was a collective hush. Her voice, fragile yet immense, sharp and tender all at once, filled the garden in a way that felt both intimate and otherworldly.
Every song carried the weight of memory, of stories left unsaid, and you could sense the crowd holding its breath between notes. It was a rare, luminous evening. If there was a flaw, it was only that the concert ended too soon: just about an hour, leaving everyone wishing for more (that’s why I rated it 4 out of 5 stars).
